Ruth Phypers

Ruth Phypers MA is a post-graduate student of SOAS (University of London) where she achieved a Distinction in the Traditions of Yoga and Meditation. Her research focused on the relationship between meditative practice, physical and mental health with a particular focus on women. She studied ancient texts relating to health from the Chinese and Indian traditions.

Ruth extended her personal medical training in physiology, immunology (Harvard Medical School Certificates) and practical disciplines including phlebotomy and B12 injections, counselling and Class 3b and Class 4 Therapeutic Laser.

Ruth’s personal health regime involves a daily yoga and meditation practice. She takes regular Ayurvedic treatments in India, avoids alcohol and prefers to eat organic non-processed food. She avoids chemically processed products and food whenever possible. Her published book, Dragon King’s Daughter, combines ancient philosophy and practice with a solution for recovery from trauma. Ruth shares openly about her personal health journey.
