Ruth Phypers has worked in leading-edge technology since 1992, and embraced a natural health lifestyle from the early 2000s. She founded Laser Medicine in 2015, to combine her natural health and fitness knowledge with Low Level Laser Therapy technology, to offer a holistic natural health service in Photobiomodulation Therapy for Laser Medicine, London.
Based out of 10 Harley Street, London, Ruth Phypers delivers therapeutic laser protocols developed over 40 years of extensive research, which incorporate traditional acupuncture principles, nutrition, and immunology. She supports healing from a wide range of conditions with Low Level Laser Therapy including pain relief, hypothyroidism, fertility, neurodegenerative disease, and tissue repair for chronic and acute injuries with this remarkably safe, non-invasive therapy that promotes tissue repair, cell regeneration, improved immunity and youthful ageing.
Ruth is passionate about the benefits of therapeutic laser / photobiomodulation therapy and partners with many esteemed medical doctors, pharmacists and clinical practitioners, to specialise in particular areas not limited to and including hypothyroid, fertility, neurodegenerative disease and tissue repair. She trains medical and clinical practitioners in Photobiomodulation Therapy, and helps to integrate therapeutic laser into their existing health practice.
Ruth’s research into the Efficacy of Photobiomodulation Therapy to restore thyroid function with Clinical Endocrinologist Prof. Venera Berisha- Muharremi and Dental and Maxillofacial Surgeon Prof. Reem Hanna was recently published in the Journal of Personalised Medicine (August 2023). Ruth is currently supporting further research into the efficacy of photobiomodulation therapy for wound healing with a leading NHS Hospital Trust. Her passion for Low-Light / Red-Light Therapy for Fertility is ongoing. She works closely with patients, offering practical and emotional support and a long term commitment to each person’s fertility journey. She has trained with Anne Marie Jensen in Denmark, and Ruth’s extensive yoga background is paramount when supporting Jensen’s physiotherapy techniques combined with Low Level Laser.
Ruth Phypers MA is a post-graduate student of SOAS (University of London) where she achieved a Distinction in the Traditions of Yoga and Meditation. Her research focused on the relationship between meditative practice, physical and mental health with a particular focus on the feminine. She studied ancient texts relating to health from the Chinese and Indian traditions. Ruth extended her personal medical training in physiology, immunology (Harvard Medical School Certificates) and practical disciplines including phlebotomy and B12 injections, counselling and Class 3b and Class 4 Therapeutic Laser.
Ruth’s personal health regime involves a daily yoga and meditation practice. She takes regular Ayurvedic treatments in India, avoids alcohol and prefers to eat organic non-processed food. She avoids the consolation or use of chemically processed products whenever possible. Her published book, Dragon King’s Daughter, combines ancient philosophy and practice with a solution for recovery from trauma. Ruth shares openly about her personal health journey.
