ACUPUNCTURE
Elemental Balance with Hannah
Hannah offers treatments at the Norwich Complementary Health Clinic. Trained at the College of Auricular Acupuncture, Hannah is one of the first practitioners to bring this powerful practice to Norwich.
Hannah’s interest in alternative medicine stems from her own long-standing personal healing journey. Hannah employs a personal, human-centered, and individualised approach in her practice. Recognising that each person is unique and responds to treatment differently, she tailors her methods to meet individual needs. Hannah’s treatments aim to restore balance to both mind and body, addressing not only specific symptoms but also promoting overall well-being. She is committed to supporting you throughout your healing journey.
Through her holistic practice, she focuses on the Traditional Chinese Medicine style of working and is able to treat the whole body by placing needles into the ear. Similar to reflexology, our ears are a microcosm of our body and there are over 200 points to work with to help to balance the body and the mind.
As well as supporting general health, Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture treats a vast range of health issues and works very well in the following areas:
- Anxiety and depression relief
- Stress relief and relaxation
- Hay fever and allergy relief
- Migraine relief
- Hormonal management
- Musculoskeletal issues
- Digestive issues
- Smoking cessation
- Weight management
- Substance abuse
Hannah is a Microsystems of Acupuncture Society member and a registrant of the British Acupuncture Federation.

- I run a multi-modal healthcare service using acupuncture, herbal medicine and manual therapy to cater for a broad range of healthcare needs. My training in these disciplines is extensive, consisting of six years of study, and since starting my practice in 2016 I have undertaken continuous professional development over a number of areas of health issues to build a wide scope of clinical practice. I operate flexible services, both face-to-face in my central Norwich location and via video calls from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the country. Your care may involve any of the modalities I offer, depending on your preferences, or a combination of these. We’ll start with a comprehensive consultation and put together a treatment plan according to your individual needs. I value person-centred and person-lead care so you’ll always be involved in how your care is planned. In addition to my clinical practice, I support the British Acupuncture Council in a range of non-clinical roles: Practitioner Director, Chair of the Professional Standards and Regulatory Committee and sitting on various committees for the organisation. I’ve also undertaken further study in the field of clinical research; my areas of research interest include the use of acupuncture in in-patient settings, effectiveness of herbal medicine, ethical practice, and the patient experience of acupuncture from a qualitative perspective. My availability is set in this online diary, so you can use the website to schedule appointments to fit your needs, and if you ever need time to discuss your care in between regular appointments feel free to book yourself in at no additional charge. The online booking system is easy to use and it’s a real doddle to rearrange.
