Background
Based on modern research into the evolution of the nervous system, the workshop teaches a package of life-skills based on an easy-to-learn map of internal experiences. Its insights apply to everyone, being a fundamental description of how the human body and mind work together.
Rather than just teaching this as a set of exercises, the workshop helps you understand WHY particular things are suggested. This educational approach means that the material could become a life-skill and be useful in all kinds of situations. It has many potential applications – and can lead to improved self-confidence, a more peaceful mind, increased resilience in life, and even an increased experience of being in connection with nature.

About …
Andrew Cook has been practising Craniosacral Therapy since 1994, treating babies and adults. Over the past 15 years, after training with the SensoriMotor Psychotherapy Institute he has been working with trauma in a unique and body-oriented way, and teaching resilience to larger groups since 2019.
“After applying PolyVagal Theory in my clinic for a few years I realised that all this material is actually universal – it’s biological, and applies to every living creature. And it’s a missing piece in the way our whole culture and society thinks about the body and mind”.
