Integrated Therapy
Integrated Therapy is a holistic, multidisciplinary and multi-faceted therapeutic approach to health care and treatment. It offers an individualised approach to treatment and rehabilitation for those dealing with a range of health and well-being concerns including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injury, accident recovery, post operative rehabilitation, arthritis, fibromyalgia, shoulder problems, and many other conditions.
Integrated Therapy can bring conventional and complementary approaches together in a coordinated way by using a holistic and patient-focused approach to health care and wellness. A major feature of the treatment is the provision of focused and personal one-on-one care.
As well as helping with a range of conditions, Integrated Therapy is often used for well-being and positive health reasons, such as for sports massage, stress management, relaxation, body maintenance and supporting healthy lifestyle changes. For those seeking to reduce pain, improve movement or cultivate a greater sense of well-being, Integrated Therapy offers an approach where treatment programs are holistic and tailor-made to meet the needs of each individual.
Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy aims to restore the body’s natural balance by supporting it’s natural healing capabilities. The treatment consists of a sequence of precise moves over muscles and other soft tissues. Combinations of moves are interspersed with short periods of rest in order for the treatment to be processed and absorbed by the body.
The therapy is holistic in focussing on the whole person and not just the symptoms.
Treatments are usually performed through light clothing.
Many patients have Bowen Therapy on a regular basis in order to maintain good health, flexibility and body performance.
